During this pandemic, a lot of things have changed including our relationships with some people. Since we had to quarantine and stay away from big groups, family members, friends, and lovers we tend to feel alone at times. Without realizing our mental health can be at stake, we tend to keep busy or at least try since our ways of having fun has been decreasing. All of us have to acknowledge that our lives aren't the same anymore, some of us have been spending a lot of time alone (including me) that can lead to depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. This is not my way of admitting that I have a mental health issue but I cannot deny that I am not the same and some of us aren't either.
Some days I wake up full of energy and I want to go out but other days it is so hard for me to get out of bed or even try to start my day. Honestly, we all feel like this but I try not to make it seems unimportant. It is extremely important that we feel good because when we feel good we look good. One way to keep our mental health in a good place is, to be honest with ourselves meaning if you're feeling sad then admit that you are and if it lasts more than a month or a few weeks then accept that you may have depression. I know it is easier said than done but for someone who has been there the sooner you admit that you have a problem the sooner it is to find a solution. This year has been tough on everyone which is why it is always good to find a way to detox by expressing how you feel to someone that you trust. Keeping things in is not going to solve any problems that you have at the moment.
