Honestly, when I wrote the title I was just going to wing it and see where my thought process takes me but as soon as I finish writing it a subject became very clear to me, I must tell you.
Our brain is wired to react to things that make us feel good which is why dopamine is released when we are having fun, it does not like stress or any unexpected situation which is why we often avoid things that can make us feel uncomfortable. But my dear if you want to succeed in life you have to do things that make you uncomfortable or things that you wouldn't normally do. There's a saying that says "if you do what you always do you will have what you always get." It's no surprise that anyone who has done something incredible has at least take a risk before they actually succeeded. To get personal, I've always been scared to speak in public because I feel like my voice wouldn't sound right, or that I would not say the right thing and the list goes on... I am realizing that I must speak even if it's something that I do not like to do but over time I will get used to it (hopefully) I know that I'll never feel ready and you will never be ready either unless you just jump right in because your brain will always make you avoid doing something that you don't normally do.
You and I have to jump right in the pot even though we are scared we have to try because on the other side of your fear lies greatness. Nothing that is extraordinary is easy. I needed to hear that so I wrote it.
