I think we don't give ourselves enough credit for half of the things we do, personally I never acknowledge my strenght or how courageous I am enough for leading a life that I am proud of and for always taking accountability for my actions whether it's big or small.

I am currently reading" it starts with us" and Lilly just divorced her husband while she has an 11 month old. She is now a single mother and business owner. She had to leave her husband because he was abusive and he used to hit her, in my opinion any man who think that it is okay to hit a woman is a monster. I am proud of Lilly for breaking that cycle for her daughter's sake because she would grow up in a household where her dad hits her mom and she might start to accept that it is okay for a man to hit a woman in her future relationship. It is not easy to leave an abusive situation and any woman who is able to leave an abusive relationship with or without support from family or friends deserve a medal, I hope that you look at yourself in the mirror and feel powerful when you see your reflection staring back at you. All you need is one weak moment with your abuser to make you believe that you made a mistake and to go back to him. I pray to God that I never have to go through this because I would rather stay alone my whole life than to be in the company of an abusive man. 

He doesn't have to hit you for him to be abusive, he could be emotionally abusive to you and treat you like trash or make you feel like you will never be enough; that is your cue to walk away and to NEVER LOOK BACK. Baby girl you are worth more than gold and any man would be lucky to have you, clearly he is not the right one. Be patient because you haven't even met all the people who are going to love you to pieces. Please spend some time alone to self-reflect to realize your worth.
