I came across this video on tiktok where this girl was saying how the pretty girls never get married or find good men to get in a really serious relationship with because the guys go for the “plain Jane” which is a term according to her are women who doesn’t wear makeup, doesn’t wear weave, doesn’t go out and do all of that stuff; those are usually the girls that get married … I will give you my opinion.

I think the girl who made that video is insecure because why would you put down other women who are natural; honestly men doesn’t care about makeup, weave and lashes. Those stuff that we wear as women are things to make us feel good or to even impress other women. Grown men who are ready to settle down and get married usually prefer women who are natural. There’s just something about a woman who can step outside with no makeup on and with her natural hair but still hold her head high. To be honest as a woman I Don’t care about what men think but I know for a fact they love natural woman. Most of the time I get approached by a man is at a grocery store when my hair wasn’t even done and I had no makeup on and they would say “wow you’re pretty” or they will start a conversation with me which was shocking to me because I didn’t even put any effort in my appearance. Quite frankly I feel the most beautiful with my natural hair and no makeup on in my house chilling on the couch; that’s when I am in my natural state. 

Men doesn’t know anything about lashes, hair and nails… they care more about who you are as a person and what you bring to the table. The plain Jane as she calls it are not self absorbed because they aren’t focused about their outer beauty they focus more on deeper things, they don’t talk about “oh I need money to get my hair done or my nails done” they have real conversations with men that are mentally stimulating. Girls who claimed themselves as “pretty” always want to make it known that they are or that they are the” hit girl” are usually insecure because why do  you have to always explain who you are; you don’t have to tell people that you’re pretty people can see it. A woman looks is not what men are after and weave, lashes and makeup is not going to get you a man, your brain will get you there.
