As a woman should you make the first move?

In my opinion NO that’s a no for me but let me explain, as a woman if you have to make the first move on a man or pursue a man first that just shows that he doesn’t love you or maybe he does but not enough for him to pursue you. I get it, it’s hard when you love someone and you are waiting for them to ask you out but they never do but as a woman it is not your job or your place to ask a man out or to tell him that you like him first. I made that mistake twice! I told a man I liked him first because he was not making the first move and that was a waste of my time but I am glad that I did because I was in love with him and that was the only way for me to move on at the time but I’ve grown now and I don’t need to admit my feelings to a man to move on anymore.

If you were thinking about going up to a man first let me stop you right there because trust me you will get your heart broken and when the relationship end it will feel like a knife strike your heart when you see him pursuing and spoiling another girl. If he is not calling you, texting you, DM’ing you then you have your answer he doesn’t have feelings for you ! He may find you attractive but that doesn’t mean anything. A man would find just about any other woman attractive as long as she has a nice body and cute face they will stare at it. You want a man that will pursue you and build with you not a man that you have to work for. Men are hunters so if he is not approaching you then keep it pushing focus on you, work on yourself so that the right man can find you. 

When you pursue a man and you help him change for the best you are basically fixing him for the next woman to have the best version of him while you watch on the sideline. If you’ve been with him for 2 years and he’s not putting a ring on it then I’m sorry but what else is there to do? You will be surprise when you see him get married to a woman he just met because man don’t take that long to figure out if you’re the one. So my advise to any woman is to never make the first move, focus on you and keep working on yourself.

There are a lot of things you can do in the meantime 

• Travel to your favorite place.
• Start a business, write a book… start drawing.
• Make more friends that will last ( girlfriends)
• Adopt a pet and enjoy your time together with your furr baby.
• Work out get that body snatched.
• Take a cooking class or swimming lessons…
• Get closer to God and start doing more for him. 
• Learn a new language 
• Grow your hair, work on your skincare or find ways to be healthier.

Focus on you babe because your soulmate is out there and he cannot wait to meet you.
