Ballon d’or.

The ceremony is happening next Monday but I can already tell that Messi might be winning the ballon d’or one last time. If he wins I don’t think he’s going to go to the ceremony to be honest because he had such a bad memory of France that I don’t think he will ever set foot there again. First of all let me give my opinion…

Messi, Haaland and Mbappé are the current candidates for ballon d’or. They put Haaland there because he had a great season by winning a treble in all competition but he didn’t even participate in the worldcup. I love Haaland he is my second  favorite players and we all know Mbappé is first of course. 

Do I think Messi should win ballon D’or this year? 

Nope, I don’t think so but let me tell you why! Sure he won the worldcup but he wasn’t the only player in the team! Messi was at the right place at the right time but France should have won the last World Cup. France should have one because the comeback they had was just phenomenal! Sure they were quiet the  first half of the match and Argentina was clearly on top but by the second half there was only one difference ! And only one player made the difference ! Mbappé did EVERYTHING! My God that was the day I fell in love with him. He scored a World Cup hat trick ! And he was just out of this world! He also did a pretty good season sure he didn’t win a champions league and so didn’t Messi they played in the same team. I think Messi is going to win ballon d’or solely because he won the World Cup and it should not be like that because they need to look at the player as a whole. Messi already won 7 ballon d’or I think I can’t keep count anymore! He really doesn’t need one more like we get it he is the best player in the world and I don’t think anyone else will ever top him with his 7 ballon d’or because at Mbappe’s age Messi already had 3 ballon D’or! 

Mbappe should have won the ballon d’or in 2018 but for some odd reason he didn’t win it even though he won the World Cup that year! But whatever. I think this whole thing is rigged! Mbappe should be the ballon d’or winner and I am not saying that because I love him, if he did a bad season I would’ve said that but he didn’t he was top goal scorer in Ligue 1 last season. Let’s talk about Haaland…

If Mbappe doesn’t win I would want Haaland to win it because he was amazing last season, he scored a lot of goals. He won all three competitions with his team and he is just out of this world. But I cannot compare him to Mbappe because sure he scores lots of goals but he is not someone who plays in the ax and just drive the ball to the net! He usually hang out near the net until kevin Debruine or until Grealish bring him the ball close enough so he can score! Mbappe doesn’t need anyone to bring him the ball he can switch positions by moving around or get the ball from the opponent and run with the ball at his feet while no one can catch him because he so fast and then boom he scores all by himself. The way Mbappe can sprint all over the field to find his way to the back of the net is insane. He is just incredible! But I still enjoy watching Haaland play but I just wish he could get the ball more because he always wait! But I love Haaland and he still young he’s only 22 so I know he is going to be incredible in his own way of course.
