Someone ask me what I did to grow my hair that fast? 

Last year my hair was really short but I’ve created a routine ever since that has been working for me. At first I tried braids to grow my hair but actually I am not sure if it worked lol because my hair was so dry after I take the braids out, and my hair shed a lot around that time. My hair doesn’t shed as much anymore since I have been trying to keep it healthy.

• Find a routine that works for you! Everyone has their own routine and my routine may not even work for you or the next person but it worked for me because I stick to it. What happen When you work out a muscle a lot? It grows! Then it’s the exact same thing for my hair when I find something that works I stick to it. 
• I deep condition my hair weekly, I let the conditionner marinate in my hair to the point that when I wash it out my hair is really soft.
• After conditioning, I put my hair in mini twist during that process I use a leave in conditioner, a twisting cream and some essential oil or hair elixir. 
• When I put my hair in mini twist I lock in the moisture and I retain length as well.

For natural growth you need to keep your hair moisturized, and always use water to moisturize you hair because that’s the best moisturizer that exist.

• I don’t put heat in my hair; if you’re looking for a girl with straight hair you will not find that  over here. I will not change for anyone either, I don’t care what you think I should do with my hair because I love it the way it is. I will not change it for anyone, you will only find kinks and curls over here. 

One thing I do that I find therapeutic is scalp massages, it allows blood to flow in my follicles which promotes hair growth. I love my afro more and more each day! I take my time with it because I have a vision for it and I believe it will get there. I think my hair is beautiful the way it is which is why I wear it a lot more. It took me a while to get here but I am happy that I did.
