I talked about this here but this is what bothers me with my fellow black women.

As a girl who has natural hair I hate it when another woman is asking me “ are you going to do your hair before the party?” Like no! My hair is done already why do I need to put a wig on my head to be ready ? Why do I need to go pay so much money to get braids? I only trust one person to install braids in my hair and she is extremely busy so if she’s not doing it so am I. But honestly I think our hair is beautiful we don’t need to hide it all the time, or wear a wig or get a weave when we go on vacation. I am not judging anyone, I’ve done that before but I am just saying let’s normalize our hair and make it okay to go anywhere with it

Let’s not associate and Afro with casual, let’s make it okay to get married in it; to go on luxurious vacation with it. Let’s be proud of we are ! We are all so beautiful let’s embrace it ;)
