Social media.

It’s no secret that I don’t like social media, I say it every chance I get. Mainly because people only post about their wins which is understandable because why would I post myself sitting on the couch crying at 1 am in my pyjama with ice cream dripping off my face? Yeah I don’t think so. I would rather post myself in front of the Eiffel Tower or eating at a fancy restaurant; in a way that’s me bragging! Even though I spent thousands of dollars for that trip I don’t need to post pictures of it online to make sure everyone knows about it. I didn’t do it for them! I did it for me. I don’t mind people posting where they’ve been or that they got married or that they are expecting a child; no that’s not the point if anything I am happy for them! I am not bitter or anything (even though I sound like it) but what I am tired of seeing is someone posting unrealistic versions of their lives. Which is why I don’t follow celebrities who post about their extravagant lifestyles! There is a freaking inflation going on do you think I want to see your Lamborghini truck while I am struggling to buy groceries at the store ? Hell no! I don’t want to see none of it. I don’t need to know that you have a large group of friends when I am crying alone feeling forgotten! I don’t care about your life and why should you care about mine? Exactly you shouldn’t.

I don’t have Facebook nor Instagram; I only have my cats Instagram because it is for them and my old Hollywood Instagram because I am obsessed with vintage stuff and old films. I don’t like sharing what I am doing with anyone, if we’re friends maybe I’ll tell you otherwise about my life but otherwise you won’t know anything about my life. Leave me alone, I don’t need to know how you got proposed to or how you’re getting married next month let me cry in peace lol.
