Communicate 

I love listening to podcasts of people speaking clearly and with the ability to express their thoughts with very colorful words. This year I want to expand my vocabulary, I don’t want to use the words  «  like » and « weird » in my conversation as I normally do. 

I realize that we are rapidly running out of words when we are speaking! One thing that can help my conversation skills is reading. I want to be able to use words to convey my emotion whether I am sad or happy; I want to describe my thoughts in a more colorful language. I will probably never be able to write as well as the farm boy in the battlefield in the civil war but I can at least try to improve my vocabulary because at this point it is just pathetic how much some of us has to say the word « like » 20 times in one conversation to describe something ! 

As a writer I do often run out of words when I am creating my craft but one thing inspires me is classical music. The minute I start hearing the  first few  notes, I start to feel as if I was in the 1900s and I have nothing but words to prove my existence!
