Girl who lost both of her legs after suffering from toxic shock syndrome from a tampon. 

Hearing the girl’s story made me more adamant about not using tampons because I always thought it was unsanitary to insert something in such a private place not knowing what kind of toxicity this thing is made of. She had 1% chance of survival and more young woman are in danger of that disease. This is not talked about enough!
