Manchester City vs Real Madrid !

So we meet again! I am a Manchester city fan as of last season. The team won all 3 competitions last year and it was sooo thrilling. Today was the match between them and Real Madrid and it ended 3-3. Last year we eliminated Real Madrid so I didn’t think it was going to be easy this time around. We have a new Manchester city team and a new Real Madrid team but we’re both good so who will get past the quarter finals?

I think Manchester city might win again but it could go either way to be honest it all depends on how the players are feeling next week. But what is going on with Haaland???! It’s like he’s nonexistent! Phil Foden had to come in and save the day; I must say Foden is becoming my favorite player now. I love Haaland but I feel like he’s going through something internally; I don’t know if it’s a break up or what it is he just doesn’t play the same. I hope he gets past whatever he’s going through because we need him next week! Thank God the team doesn’t have to rely on him but it’s great when he saves the day because he can score! He is sooo good at scoring goals but lately it’s been rare and I miss him :( I just love it when he scores it breaks my heart when I don’t see him score a goal. 

We love you Haaland!!! I hope he has a great support system because it can get tough for those players out there. People think it’s easy to just show up at your best everyday but it’s not sometimes all you can do is breathe. Those players often don’t open up to the public about what is going on. There was a Liverpool player who said “ I don’t have any friends, after training I just go home and stay by myself and it gets lonely” I applaud him for saying that because it is not all glitz and glitter. Sometimes you feel lonely and you may feel like you have no one to turn to. I remember when Mbappé missed his penalty in the euros in 2021 gosh he was sooo depressed ! The public criticized him and called him all types of names; he even thought about quitting the team! It gets hard for everyone so let’s all be kind. I will always love Haaland and Mbappé they are the future of football.
