I heard a speaker said “ if you want to find your soulmate you have to kill your soul” at first I thought that was a weird statement to make! because without your soul how would you know what you want and what you like? But then I finally understood what he meant.

When you use what you already know which is part of your soul or your whole being often times what you know is not right. You might have went through a break up and soon after without taking some time alone there is a strong possibility that if you don’t take time to heal and to properly move on, you will find yourself in a relationship with someone similar because that is what you know. If you want to find the love of your life stop living in fear of the future. This piece of advice is meant for me because I often say in a few years I will be 30 years old and there are no men in sight that I actually want to date. But what if I just enjoy the moment and be happy with just being alone. I can be the love of my life first, I do believe there is no one out there that could love me better than the way that I love myself. I am the one who feels the pain, I am the one who’s struggling to survive… I know myself ends and out. I’ve spent my entire life getting to know myself, protecting myself even as a child so therefore I am the love of my life. 

Once you stop worrying about the future and about whether or not you will end up alone that is the moment you will start living. You are not alone! You have yourself! You have God and you can make friends (that is for me) some of the advice that I give you is also for me. Often times you rush to get in a relationship and to get married only to be miserable. Sure you don’t want to be alone forever but what if the person you choose to spend the rest of your life with is the cause of your downfall? Would you then have wished you stayed alone?
