If you’re a girl or you know a woman who often walk alone please tell her about this.
Recently let’s say I go to Walmart and it’s broad day light. Let’s say I walk into the store minding my business and shopping, at first I am not paying attention on who’s watching or what’s happening around me. I am in my own bubble I am listening to music and shopping then suddenly something inside of me tells me to look around but more importantly to look behind me. I look and I see a man watching me and following me. Well that’s weird but it is a store so people are allowed to walk around and to look around but wait this guy doesn’t even have a shopping cart! Why is he in the pet aisle with me and he’s not picking up anything he’s just hanging around.
I walk away to the household items department and soon enough I see him nearby. Guess what I do ? I finish shopping and pay for my items and I ask one of the employee who’s a man standing at the front door to walk me to my car. I explain to him my suspicion and he was more than happy to help me. He said he will talk to the manager so that they can review the footage and even get the police involve. When the guy was walking me outside I saw the man waiting outside and as soon as he saw me he kept walking away because he saw someone with me. He got into a truck and sped off!
The story of Kelsey Smith made me watch out even more when I am shopping.
Ladies please pay attention to your surroundings it is that easy to get kidnapped, watch true crimes shows to know how evil people are. It is not all sweet and pretty out there.
- Never park next to a truck.
- Park close to the store entrance if you can
- Never go shopping when the store first open wait until there are more people around.
- Get pepper spray and put it in your purse.
- Lock your doors when you get in.
