we live in a very vast world, where the people you know may not be who you think they are. Not to sound bitter I admit some people do surprise me, sometimes they turn out to be great after I judge them with one glance. There are some people that I gave my trust without a second thought only to find myself in a hole of disappointments and lies. we live in a world where the same people who smile at you and give you compliments are planning to sabotage you and put you in a special place in their hearts called "hatred files". I really did not want to sound bitter but when I started to write this I intended to speak the truth. There are some people who truly have your best interest at heart and personally, I give everyone the benefit of the doubt and that is until they prove me wrong. 

some people aren't really listening to your problems they are just happy to listen to you rant about your struggles while they feel better about themselves. I want someone to prove me wrong, prove to me that there are some good people out there. I truly want to see the best in people but after so many failed attempts at trying to prove myself wrong I am slowly giving up. I used to feel like I always have to be someone's friend, someone's listener, someone's late-night talker but lately, I just want to be my own friend. I want to be my biggest supporter even if that means being alone in the fight but I realize that I am more powerful alone.
