This is my opinion, I saw this quote online and I think it went something like "Anyone who is ok with being alone is truly powerful". The first time I read the post I thought it meant that someone is powerful because they don't need anyone but the more I think about it I realize that It is more than that; because we all need someone even the worse people on earth has a soft spot for someone.

Being powerful alone to me doesn't mean that I do not need anyone, I need people in my life and I need certain relationships to thrive but I don't always need someone to make me happy or to go on with life. Being powerful alone for me is being able to walk into a restaurant and getting a table alone while you sat down to eat your meal, It's being your own gym partner, your own coffee buddy, your own study buddy not that you don't need anyone but being alone does not scare you.  This society has made us believe that we need to be in a relationship in order to feel important but the most important part of you is not the one you created with someone but the part you created while you were alone sorting your life out.
