There it was by the garden,

Everyone could pass and take a look at it.

Steady, solid and brown.

They wanted to sit on it but it was an odd chair.

Perhaps it's because it was leaning on one side,

But solid on the other.

How can you sit ?

Solid but easy to break on the other side.

Why so complicated ?

They would walk by and not sit.

On a rainy day it would stand firm

Not a single raindrop could tear it down.

The wind would blow and it would be still standing,

Not a single shake.

A girl came with a baseball bat and knock on it,

It remain unbreakable.

Nothing could break it.

A guy would pass every morning and stand by it.

They would look to see if he would sit.

He never does.

One day he stopped and slowly touch it.

Then finally he sat on it.

The chair stays firm.

Still standing.

Not a single shake.
