Hello,
The issue I want to address today is for everyone and any person can benefit from it or just hear me out. First of all even though this blog looks pink on a computer screen it is not for girls or women. I just like pink I guess you can say that I am a bit girly but my thoughts are not. My page looks different on a phone screen I guess there's nothing I can do about that. Okay let me start my topic.
Nowadays I see that everything is based on looks. I see people date based on what the other person looks like. Which makes me start to bring up the "what's your type" conversation. Honestly If I were to describe my type I wouldn't know because I don't really have a type. If I like you I just do and that's it. Some people do in fact have a type. Some guys likes tall, slim girls...other guys like short curvy and other guys like petite females. Nothing wrong with your type. At the end of the day you should know what is right for you. I am not in your head but don't let physical appearance stop you from getting to know someone. Just because you like tall girls or guys doesn't mean You won't be able to be happy with someone short. Physical appearances cannot make you happy, do you even know what the person is like. Is the person nice, generous, non arrogant and non aggressive? Do you even know the person? Just because she is pretty or he is handsome does not mean he is a wonderful person. Personally I don't care how handsome you are if your personality is not pleasant then you are ugly to me. A pretty face can also be ugly do you know that? A pretty face doesn't necessarily mean that the person is beautiful. Why is what you look like matter the most? It should not always be about what you look like. Yes I admit it will be pleasant if the person is appealing but...I see people getting surgery to look like a totally different person why? Isn't what God gave you enough? I am not judging anyone. We all have our own insecurities I have my own some I learn to overcome. I can share one with you. For example In high school I used to always wear braids because I was not comfortable with showing my hair. I was afraid that people would make fun of my afro, I was scared that my crush wouldn't think I was pretty if I let my hair out(damn did I care). But now...I see it differently. If you don't like my hair then you don't like me but that's okay because I like me and someone else will too. I have gained confidence with my own hair, I learn to love my hair and to take care of it. I do not care if someone think it's not this or it's not that because I freaking love it. I do not care what people think of me anymore. Some of you are hiding something not that it is not beautiful it may be beautiful but because you are comparing yourself to someone else you may not be able to see how beautiful what you have is. What I will tell you is that If you do not accept yourself then no one else will and if they do accept you well what's the use since you don't even know how to do it yourself. Everything starts with you and only you. No one else can tell you what you should do...be yourself. Let your hair out lol let them see you. Go days without makeup and feel free to bare yourself to the world. It is not weak to show your true self instead it shows confidence, courage. Do you know how hard it is to be yourself nowadays? most guys go to the gym, work out to be bulky...what about them skinny guys? they are beautiful too. Just because they are not as big does not mean that they are not attractive. Just because he is not tall does not mean he is not handsome. Just because she is not skinny or does not wear a size small does not mean she is not attractive. Petite girls are pretty too and they can do modeling too if they want. Most girls get their nails done every two weeks, get their weave or whatever have a large makeup supply and don't get me started on their closet. I think It's cute and shamelessly I do that too maybe not all the time but it feels good to feel pretty when you put that extra work and you know that you're poppin'. You don't have to do it everyday because it cost a lot of money and you have to let yourself breath. At least go some days without makeup and worry less about which outfit to wear...It is exhausting going through your closet looking through 10 different outfit only to go back and wear the first one...all that for what? No one really care when you look good, they all just want something bad to talk about.. that one day you let yourself go with a messy bun and some sweatpants everybody seemed to care and everybody got something to say. All I can say Is worry about you stop worrying about them and about what they are thinking of you. I used to worry a lot...then Life has taught me so many lessons that I had to stop worrying so much.
