The book of the week is "Quiet: the power of introverts in a world that can't stop talking" by Susan Cain. I am excited to read this book because I have been wanting to get my hands on it since February but I've been putting it off each time I was about to purchase it because I was so busy and I thought I wouldn't have the time to read it but do we ever have free time? don't we all just make time? because we can always be doing something else so it's really up to us to prioritize anything. This is why I roll my eyes every time someone say to me that they've been meaning to call or text me but they just haven't had the time because it's bs and I have no tolerance for that. If you are an introvert then you know how our tolerance for bs is thin and we hate small talk so just get to the point and don't beat around the bushes. I love people who tell it like it is even when they could hurt my feeling but at least I know how they really feel; I hate liars and people who pretend to be someone that they're not.... uhm here I go rambling again lol
Back to the book; I just purchased it so it should get here by Sunday. My house is filled with books and I am still buying more lol. well the truth is books make me feel safe as well as cartoons. Like I always say I wouldn't be who I am today without books, writing and cartoons because those are my passion in life. I might do a book review when I am done reading it but if you want to read it with me feel free to get it on amazon if this topic interest you, if not that's alright you can pick a book that is more suitable to your liking.
I have been slacking on my reading and I think that it's because I haven't found a book that fully interest me. At the moment I am interested in mental health, how the brain works so basically the psychological part of the human race so I figured perhaps I should pick books in that particular subject. Hopefully the books that I picked are captivating enough to keep me away from the TV.
