I Notice the girls with the biggest butt in the gym barely does glute exercises and it's all natural. Reasons why is because you don't actually need 17 exercises to grow your glutes you only need 4 in a single session. Doing a variety of exercises all in one session will not give you a bigger butt overnight.
Personally, I never do more than 5 different exercises in one session. Some days I only do: RDL'S, step up, sumo squats, hip adduction and Bulgarian split squat that was all yesterday. I just increase the weight and the intensity because to me that's a lot if you're doing them correctly and I am walking sideways today because I am in pain back there!
at times I do a lot more reps but all you need is 15-20 sets a week per muscle group how you do it is up to you! you can do sets of 10 reps or sets of 8 reps as long as you're increasing the weight then you are on the right track. When I do a lot more than I'm supposed to, I don't do it for the muscle but I do it for my mind because I am actively destroying my muscles which means I will need more to recover the following days! normally when I lift heavier or when I do way more sets than usual, I am either trying to get my mind off something, so I'd rather suffer instead, or I am angry, and I take my anger out on my muscles but not too much because I don't want to get an injury. Normally I train to failure on the days I am having a bad lol. You don't need to train to failure every time you work out because you will experience muscle fatigue. I am sooo afraid of growth Plateau which is when you stay at one size and your muscles don't grow as much so that's why I trained to failure at least once a week (normally on a Saturday)
