1. talking to my mom: I need her opinion on every single thing I am doing because she is my best friend. If I don't talk to her then my day is pointless and I would just be really sad.
2. listening to music + writing. I love music and writing so much and I don't remember a day I didn't listen to music or not write anything.

1. I would stay home and eat all the food I like, I wouldn't even go to work since I know the world is ending anyways so there's no point..I will just eat because I will need all the energy I can gather for when it's gets bad. I will spend all my money on food honestly (lol)
2. I will walk up to my crush and tell him word for word " I don't care what you're doing right now or who you are with but you are mine now; and I will just kiss him" if he kisses me back then we are getting married right away so that we can get busy because there's no time to waste and the world is ending anyway might as well have some last minute fun ;)

First I would apologize to everyone I encounter because I would be very grumpy and rude. I would not make any small talk, would not ask anyone how they are, I wouldn't even say hi to anyone because my mind would be on my bed waiting for me to pick it back up. It wouldn't be my normal bubbly self walking around but a very grumpy old lady. My eyes would be red, I would complain about everything, I would be crying honestly because I cannot function unless I get at least 7 hours of sleep but I usually go for my full 8 hours.
I cannot imagine not sleeping for that long because I cannot function even if it's just for a day, I would have been very jittery because I would need coffee to function. I would look like I am on drugs for real because people would just assumed that because of the way I would start twitching. I have irregular insomnia but very seldom thank God because I don't know what I would do with myself. I love sleeping so much, I need to take a nap before anything I'm doing. I take a nap after I eat, take a nap before I clean and before I do my laundry, before I go out, I will need a nap before my wedding as well because I nap before anything lol

First let me talk about the first book i've read that made me fall in love with storytelling and writing. As a child I used to love children books and the first book I remember reading is " oui oui et le gendarme" and I know I was either 5 years old or 6 because it is a far away memory and my mom is still shocked that I remember this book. I will buy this book again and frame it as the first book I've read, I will probably give it to my kids too. Since the book is in french I will teach my kids french as well just so I can give them this book.
After reading that first book entirely I would read just about anything starting from the cereal box, receipt, my cousin love letters to his crushes... he used to run after me to retrieve those letters and I started to learn how to read fast before he would catch me which resulted in me being able to read just about anything really fast. Then before the age of 13 I've read all the romantics books in the house and there was a lot because I got them from a huge bookshelf, I would hide in the dark to read them with a candle because they were forbidden. My mom used to praise me for hanging out in the library room so much if only she knew what I was reading she would never allowed me in there (lol). When I saw how creative writing was and how much you can express with words I started keeping diaries, I had my first diary at 8 years old and I know because I had a crush on this guy when I was 8 and I got this red journal with a lock on it just to write about him. But then he got with my friend so I burned the journal (lol) I've always been dramatic omg.
But let me tell you why I love writing...
When I was younger something traumatic happened to me and I had stop playing and speaking for a while. I retrieved within myself and started spending a lot of times alone; I remember my mom was really concern and she would even advised me to write about my feelings if I can't speak since I spent so much time reading. I had started writing ever since at like 12 years old and I never stopped ever since. Writing has brought me so much joy and comfort. I would write stories and read them to my mom, she used to love them. I would write for anyone who would listen especially my teachers because I was a teacher's pet in elementary school. They would even give me special writing assignments since I love writing so much and I remember my classmates calling me dumb for asking for more homework but I didn't care I was too excited to go home and do it. I would come home take a shower, eat and go straight for my writing assignment before my math assignment. I never spend more than 1 hour learning math and I used to suck at it so bad but my teachers knew I was an A student when it came to grammar, verbs, writing and health sciences so they would just let me be. I think I started to take math serious in 6th grade because of the state test in haiti you had to take a state test before you go to the 7th grade and it was a big deal because if you didn't pass you will have to repeat the class entirely but I passed! I never repeated any classes despite the fact I used to suck at math.
Now, writing is a prominent thing in my life. When I feel sad I write to soothe myself, when I am happy I write to celebrate and when I am mad I write to express my frustration. when I like someone I write because that person is all I think about even if I don't talk to them but I will always write about them because they inspire me. I cannot wait to fall in love so that I can write for my man, I hope that he will be a fan of my writing because it will be annoying if he doesn't like it because I will write him cryptic messages and very detailed notes to let him know how much I love him.

As a woman I think that every woman should have a choice about what they want to do with their bodies; it is completely fine if a woman doesn't want kids and I don't think that she is comitting a crime. There is a lot that comes with being a parent and some people just aren't ready for that kind of responsibility; am I ready for a child now? NO I am not but there is nothing that says that I won't be ready in the future under the right circumstance and with a better mind-set.
Having children is a privilege and a ton of women use that as a way to trap a man into staying in a relationship with them, I am against that because that is just selfish. I believe that all women who are sexually active should have access to birth control if they aren't ready to have a child but personally, I don't believe in sex before marriage that is my own conviction but even when someone is married I do believe that they have to talk about having a child together and not just do it without planning because having a baby is costly. Here's a few questions you can ask yourself before you have a baby: Are you equipped to take care of yourself and the baby after he/she is born? is your partner supporting your needs? who's going to take care of the house bills when you are on maternity leave? do you have a pay maternity leave at your job? Do you have enough room for the baby to roam? does your house have lead paint? do you have someone helping you if you get sick? child care? private or public school?

there's a lot that comes with being pregnant and expecting a baby, I do believe that you have to be mentally ready to handle all of it to create a safe place for your newborn because you owe them that much, they didn't ask to be here so it is your job to take care of your baby. Honestly I love babies and I want to have my own someday. I will read this again when I get to that part of my life. congrats to all of the pregnant ladies who are expecting I wish you a great delivery and a awesome recovery :)

Although I had a hard time adjusting to covid and the whole quarantine but I had some good times. I love staying home and at first that wasn't really a problem because I was making some efforts to speak to a few people. I've met tons of people online on Instagram which was really fun, I was in a few group chats that were fun. I loved the fact that we emphasized checking on each other online through zoom, facetime and text. All of that was fun at first.
I discovered SNL, watched the whole season of smallville, saw many movies that I didn't have time to see, slept a lot more, finally learned how to eat well and cooked food from other countries. It was so much learning new things alone, reading books, doing research on topics that interest me... Uhm I think I finally learn how to be okay alone, I learn who my real friends are, I learn to be strong away from everyone. I used to cling to some people to make me happy but during quarantine I have detached myself from all of them and became happy alone.

questions and answers to get to know me; not that you care but it's fun for me so here it goes...
1.who is your hero?
My mom. Because she survived a ton of stuff that would have broke me, she is so brave and so strong. She is also very kind, forgiving, so funny, so lively and so beautiful overall. I love her more than anything, she has such a big heart and I have not met anyone more amazing.
2. If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
In France, but not too close to the Eiffel tower because I don't want to walk past it every morning because it would lose its magic, I always want to be amazed and in awe everytime I see it.
3. what would you change about yourself if you could?
hummmmm I don't know, it's weird but I can't imagine myself any other way... I love all of my flaws and quirks because those are things that make me who I am.
4. what makes you really angry?
someone ignoring me, yesterday I got so mad at a woman on a cash register, I was fuming lol she even apologized. I didn't know I could get so angry only because she ignored me, if looks could kill she would be dead right now.
5. what would you sing at karaoke night?
I would sing " a thousand miles" by Vanessa carlton ever. ever since I saw white chicks this has been my favorite song lol
6. how many pairs of shoes you own?
I don't even know lol all I know is that it's more than a 100 pairs
7. How many pillows do you sleep with?
4 pillows and if I sleep with more my neck will hurt.
8. how often do you buy clothes?
maybe 3 times a month or more depends on what's going on that month.
9. are you a clean or messy person?
I am a very clean person but I can be messy when I am depressed but overall I am a squeaky clean person.
10. what's the craziest thing you ever done in the name of love?
I wrote a love letter to someone and I did give it to him but right at the beginning of the letter I said " this is not a love letter" but then proceed to say he meant a lot to me and I told him to meet me in person just so I could tell him that I had a crush on him. I did meet up with him but I don't think I told him I liked him because when we met for the first time alone... I just didn't feel the spark so I said " I had a crush on you " instead of I have because at that point I was already moving on lol/
11. when was the first time you said " I love you " to someone who wasn't your family?
Never because I have never been in love before, I say like because it was never that deep or I say I have feelings for you because I am not sure what they are yet.
12. were you nervous during your first kiss?
No because I didn't like the guy and I hated the kiss... it was my first but I don't count it. I count my second one as my first now because it was amazing and not with the same person.
13. how do you define love?
I see it as a commitment when someone keep choosing me over and over no matter what because they cannot imagine me not being in their lives and I am the first person they think about when they wake up and when they go to sleep at night... that's love.
14. what does the word crush mean to you?
It means the feeling of having butterflies in my stomach every time I see him and always feeling the need to hear their beautiful voice.
15. do you think people can change when they love someone?
yes, I do believe that because a cheater will commit when they are truly in love with the person they are with... well that's my opinion but who knows.

I wasn't even going to discuss this but for the sake of Celine Dion and Michael jackson I will talk about it.
First of all how is Celine Dion not in the list of 200 best singers of all times??? but SZA is on the list? she literally has only 2 albums and I think she's overrated in my opinion. Did they not hear my heart will go on? I am pissed at that list they need to rectify it because they made several mistakes.
I think people overlook Michael Jackson's ability to sing with the fact that he is a very talented dancer... the man was and remained a musical genius! he could sing, dance, play instrument and come up with the melodies for the song, he could do it all. How did they think it was a good idea to put him at 86?? they honestly put Prince before Michael ??? and I mean way above Michael like really? this makes no sense. If you put MJ among 1000 singers I will easily be able to identify him because he has such a unique voice and not a lot artist have this uniqueness to them, nowadays individualism is dead and everyone sound almost the same.
and they put Billie Eilish at number 198 I think! like really!!! she should be in top 20 I'm sorry Sza should not be ahead of her.
