corruption in soccer.
I call the game football but since we are in american football season I say soccer to differentiate between the two but just for future reference when I say football I don't mean american football because I am not a fan of it.
The last world cup happened in Qatar which was unusual because it is a country that is smaller than most US states and most of the stadiums had to be built for the world cup which meant that workers had to migrate all over the world to build it thinking it was a great opportunity to earn money to support their families but it's believe that 6,500 migrant workers have died during the infrastructure for the tournament because it was the most appalling working conditions, the officials denied this of course because they didn't want bad press to follow the world cup. Many families await the arrival of their family members who went to build the stadiums and they have not returned home because most of the workers who died aren't accounted for ! this country has serious human rights issues so how did the most prestigious tournament worldwide took place there?
It was recently discovered that Fifa officials were bribed to pick Qatar in 2010 which meant the whole system was corrupt but they fired most of the people who were responsible for this but when it was discovered it was too late and the world cup was set to take place in Qatar. This country is in the middle of the desert so it is extremely hot in the summer, it wouldn't have been ideal for the players to play in such a hot temperature so they moved it in the winter when the heat was just 95 Fahrenheit which is still hot!! I can't imagined what it would have been in the summer. The world cup normally doesn't happened in the winter because the players are still playing their club seasons. Basically all the players had to leave their club in the middle of the season with very little time to rest for the world cup and then right after the worldcup they had to go back to their country with just one week of rest to play for their club seasons; which is awful! the players are humans and the worldcup is the most tiring event for every single player, some of them got injured and they had no time to rest which meant they couldn't even play in some of the matches. You have to understand the world cup is the most important event for a football player so missing a match is very disappointing. If they had play the worldcup in the summer it would have been better because the club seasons end in may so they would have a month off at least to rest.
The sad part in all of this the stadiums that were built for the world cup will be destroyed because they don't have enough funding to keep the stadiums running so all of the workers who died was for nothing! this is so sad I can't believe Fifa let this happened. But the Saudi Arabia have the most billionaires in the world so it doesn't surprised me that this happened. This world cup was the most expensive from all the past 10 world cups ! Fifa had to pay up to $220 billion! while most of the residents in Qatar are living in poorly conditions with very little human rights which is why there was a protest during the world cup because that was just unacceptable.

Bad habit.
we all have bad habits that we are trying to break out of, which is nothing to be ashamed of because none of us is perfect. We have to continually try to break out of it and seek help if needed. One of my bad habits is eating out but I have been trying really hard not to keep doing that because not only is it expensive but it is unhealthy. One thing that I have been doing is actively buying groceries so that I can cook for myself, which is honestly not a problem because I love cooking but it gets boring when I cook the same thing over and over again, I have been getting new recipes on pinterest or on tiktok a lot lately and cooking has never been more fun. I have gained some weight sadly! but it's fine I work out at home. On friday I made this shrimp, spinach, mushroom and tomatoes spaghetti with Marinara sauce, it was so good! I was so proud of myself and honestly cooking does make me happy and I don't know why I buy food out when I can make such delicious food at home.
Bad habits just sort of creep up on us so we have to immediately nip it in the bud and reinforce new habits that are good for us. I am trying to take that advice because my life will be so much better if I get rid of all of my bad habits.

my opinion on PSG
PSG lost a match again yesterday and I was shocked because Neymar and Messi were playing in the first half of the match; they even added Mbappe in the second half which was dumb! why did Christophe Gaultier think it was a good idea to leave Mbappe on the bench?! The team they were playing is not even that big and they still lost!
In my opinion, I don't think Neymar is happy at PSG because he's not giving it his all, he did so much at Barcelona with Messi! he scored so many goals for Barcelona that even Messi could not come close to what he did at the time they were playing together. Don't get me wrong Messi is still the goat but when he was playing with Neymar at Barcelona they were unstoppable. Now that they are at PSG I don't see that fire, when I watch their training session I don't see Neymar laughing or dancing anymore... Ney is a very expressive person you can tell when he is mad, sad, or happy but honestly ever since Mbappe supposedly stabbed him in the back by trying to get the PSG headquarters to sell Ney everything went south... Ney is not trying as hard suddenly Mbappe became close friends with Hakimi, don't get me wrong I love their friendship but let's not act like he didn't only get closer to Hakimi after Messi joined the team and Ney was so excited to play with Messi again that he started to train more with Messi than Mbappe. Ney and Messi have had a special bond ever since at Barcelona because Messi has always been there for Ney like a big brother... but Mbappe is still really young he literally just turned 24 last December but I just think he plays better with Neymar than Hakimi because the last time they tried to make Hakimi and Mbappe played together they lost 3-1 to Lens... which was 2 weeks ago and they lost again yesterday! like I need Ney and Mbappe to be cool again because they will lose the french cup with all of this tension going on in the team... it's gotten to a point where you can really see that Ney and Mbappe don't even speak to each other... Ney just stays quiet and only jokes around with Messi.
I love both Mbappe and Neymar but they seriously need to work out their issue and become friends again because the team needs it !! I need it danmit lol

Let me explain...
you all know I love cats and I do love my babies but they can be a handful, it's basically like having a child. You have to feed them, care for them, clean them, make sure they're healthy, bring them to see a Doctor yearly for a complete physical, and when they are sick, If they are sneezing you have to bring them to see a Doctor because they might have a fever as well... it's a lot but at this point, I kind of feel like I was just fine with one cat because having 2 of them is too much for me.
I was so mad at Archie this morning because he is a long-haired cat so his fur was all matted when he went to use the litter box (I am sorry if this is kinda gross but I just want to express my frustration. So anyway long story short there was poop all over my floor because he doesn't know how to clean his butt properly (sigh) at this point I wanted to give him away to a shelter... I was so mad and he knew that I was mad because I sprayed water on him and yelled at him. Pixie was all confused and worried for him but I did not care. I don't know any more, if it continues like this I might give them away... it's just too much but I love them both so much. Pixie doesn't give me many problems but Archie is just nasty right now he needs to learn how to clean himself properly because I will give him away.
