""To glow up" for me is to become who you always wanted to be, when you close your eyes that person you see who has already achieved all those goals, that is your highest self and that is who you want to glow up to be.
In the process of becoming your highest self some people will come to envy you and hate you but pay them no mind. Never give hate in return, always focus on yourself and your goals. Continue to elevate yourself even if people are jealous of your growth.
1. Never focus on people who shows hostility towards you: People tend to hate what they cannot understand or what they cannot destroy. All you have to do is to leave it in God's hands and always pray to him. Have faith in God don't take revenge into your own hands.
2. never let other people make you feel bad for the things you love. What you love is part of who you are, protect them and enjoy them as much as you can. For example I love music from the 1950-1980's and I love old films, they are mostly things an 80 year old person might like but I love all of that vintage stuff and no one can make me feel bad for loving those things. I won't force other people to love them like I do but I certainly will not tolerate someone making me feel bad for taking pleasure in them.
3. never rely on others. Always make sure you can do for yourself what others can do for you, I am not saying to never ask for help that would be absurd. You can ask for help but make sure you learn in the process so that one day you can do what someone else did for you on your own.
4. when you walk in a room keep your head held high and shoulders back. You don't have to be the prettiest girl in the room to have confidence, by the way being confident has nothing to do with being beautiful. You can the most beautiful human being and can still be the most insecure, it's all about knowing who you are and standing firm on your truth. It's about loving who you are despite all of your flaws, you will be surprise to see how many people will love your flaws as you start falling in love with yourself.
5. you will make mistake. That's fine and who would we be if we didn't make mistakes? we are not perfect and we will never be. Adopt the "okay and" mentality I got that from wizard liz on youtube she was saying once you start saying ok and? when you mess up it will start to feel less like the end of the world. Like someone stop talking to you: ok and? they are not the only people on earth you haven't even met all the people you will meet in your lifetime, you said the wrong thing ok and? so what? people aren't going to remember that in 10 years not even in a year, people have their own problem to worry about.
