reminder:
1. In the gym you won't see results overnight or in one week, discipline will help you achieve your dream body. Comparing your body to anyone else will only deteriorate your progress and make you doubt yourself. Remember people have different genetics so your progress might seem slow to some but you're still making progress. In 10 years you'll be proud that you kept going. Look at the gym as a long term commitment not just a one time thing or an occasional hobby you pick up every 6 months. Do this for your health, for your future self. Keep going your dream body is one more workout away even if you got it one more workout will keep you in shape and healthy.
2. that person you're bending yourself over backwards for but who wouldn't as so much lift a finger for you, yeah you need to let them go. You don't have to be mean to them but set your boundaries and take time away from them. I relate to this because I love doing things for people but sadly some of them would never help me, once I realize that I am burning myself out while I am also struggling I decided to take a step back.
3. love doesn't hurt. If you have to beg, sacrifice and plead just to get a little bit of love from someone RUN. If you're confused then that person doesn't love you. Love is clear set and stone, you don't need a magnifying glass to see it. Understand that some people appreciate you, some want to be just friends with you, some want to use you and a few genuinely do love you and that's rare.
4. no one will care as much as you or as much as your mother does. The number one cause of my depression is realizing that no one cares about me as much as I would like, or no one love me enough as much as my mother. They didn't care that you weren't there, they never check on you, they never ask if you were ok... let it go you know who was there for you through it all? God! he was right there with you while you cry, while you were sad. I came to the realization that I don't need anyone to "fake care about me" as long as I have Jehovah in my corner that's all I need. I'd rather be alone with God in my corner than to have 10 fake people pretending to care about me.
