what is your favorite day of the week?
it's Thursday and it has always been ever since I was a kid. When I was in middle school, I used to love Thursdays because it was the day for PE. and because I grew up excited for Thursdays, I still feel the same way. There something exciting about Thursdays that brings me joy! right now I love it because I have meeting in the afternoon after looking sloppy all day at work then I get to look like a princess after that lol

There's this woman I know, I will not say where I met her but let's name her Maggie, she is a white woman and I actually like her. She is a sweet person but there are some questions she asks me about my hair that makes me uncomfortable and of course I don't tell her that because I can tell those questions come from a place of fascination not so much to criticize my hair. Every time I change my hair she would ask " now is this your hair?" now girl come on this is an 18-inch buss down when would I have time to grow this? but I don't tell her that I calmly tell her no it's not. When I wear my afro she would ask " so that's your hair?" and I would say yes, and she would say something like " wow it's so beautiful and unique you should wear it every day" and I agree with her too, but my hair would get dry if I wear it out daily like she suggested, and honestly even though I love my hair to death I do get bored with it. There is various style that I can do with it but I still get bored because I love to change my style.
My problem with her is that she always makes it a big deal when she sees my hair like why! she doesn't do that with other people. It makes me feel a little odd when she does it because when it comes to other girls with looser curls or straight hair, she says nothing to them but me she always has to ask questions! it's just hair. I hate it when she says, " can you make it straight?" that is an insult to me because I love my hair just the way it is and I will not change it for anyone. If you don't like it then you don't have to look at it, if you're a man and you don't like my hair then pick another girl leave me alone because I love my hair. I love my 4c hair I am tired of society making women with big afros feel so out of place! this hair is from my African descendant, and I am proud to wear it. LEAVE MY HAIR ALONE, AND DON'T TOUCH IT!!!

Listen I am not a complicated person, but I can be if I don't want you to figure me out. If you are on my blog, you basically made it to the VIP list because I don't share this blog with just anyone! if I did I either trust you or I really appreciate you and I wanted you to understand me better because I can be confusing. Sometimes I come back here and read stuff I wrote just to make sure I am still the same person!
But here's some help...
If you want to be my friend you will have to be patient and don't be offended if I decline your invite, I do that to everyone, just bear with me because I don't open up quickly. So you will have to call me at first because I simply will never call you, I may text you here and there mostly answering your text but please be patient because once I trust you I will call you daily and you will not be able to get rid of me, sorry I will be at your house, I will be on FaceTime with you (even if I say omg I hate facetime I will do it lol) but before we get there be prepare for me to decline your call, invitations but I will always answer your text. You will think I am a jerk at first, but I am the sweetest person you will ever meet but before you see that I will be mean to you especially if I like you a lot. I will be the friend you call when you're in trouble and I will help you, I be the one you cry to because whatever you tell me will stay between us. I will protect you, compliment you, make sure you look your best especially if you're going out with me because we both have to look good, I will be your right hand. Before you get all this, you will suffer because once we are besties nothing can separate us.
If you want to date me don't try to impress me it will not work, don't brag about things you have it will only turn me off. Be exactly who you are, and you will see a big difference, who you are will determine whether or not I want to date you. Don't be rude because I will stop talking to you and I will block you! be nice and respectful. I will not tell you how to make me fall for you because even if I tell you I am really hard to get; I look easy because I am sweet but trust me, I've made up my mind from the day that I met you. I already knew if you have a chance or not. And Don't make me chase you because I WON'T DO IT.
