They often say people born in December are cold and distant but that couldn’t be further from the truth! My question to you is what did you do to make us act this way?

 

As someone born in December myself I hate fighting or any confrontation. I am always running away from any tension, I don’t want the heat lol I would just ignore you all together. I am very attentive, I can sense your emotions and act accordingly. I don’t take things personal, I do my part and that’s all that matters. All I want is to be happy, I don’t do anything toxic unless I am in a very toxic environment. If you’re looking for drama go find it in people born in the summer but not over here lol. The heat I bring is different and unexpected yet I can be cold when I don’t feel valued. I act like I take things seriously for a split second and then forget everything! My memory is trash lol

Gym talk

I’ve made a ton of mistakes when I started working out this year and I am still making more mistakes! Recently well this week I realized that I cannot train my legs on back-to-back days. I still see results, but my muscles are on fire!

 

I don’t want to strain my muscles because my lower body work out is INTENSE! It wasn’t like that 2 months ago but the more I am getting used to my routines and I am adding more weight to the point where training my legs both Friday and Saturday is not sustainable. I was experiencing muscle fatigue; I realize I need to space out my leg days with my upper body days. I decided now to train my legs on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday (I may alternate between Friday and Saturday) and train my upper body on Tuesday and Friday as well as a sprinkle of cardio in there. My workout routine is intense! Usually, I am extremely tired after the gym! I just go straight to bed or just lay down. I am happy with my routine, but I am trying something new this week to see if I will feel better because I am so tired of being exhausted on Sundays because of training my legs two days back-to-back! Like who does that!? I am overcompensating by doing that. When you work out you break down the muscle and you have to give it time to repair itself so that you can go at it again. Muscle gain doesn’t happen in the gym but outside the gym when you are resting and eating enough protein. I need to give my muscles time to repair itself on those 2 days because I want to give it my all! Sometimes on Saturdays I don’t go as hard because I already went hard the day before. I know what to do and we’re trying this 3-2-1 method for now on (3 strength training days, 2 core work outs/pilates days , 1 cardio day) we got this ;)

Love or money?

 

Recently I met a guy well actually he found me because I sure was not looking. He has been really polite, very understanding but one thing is off! He has no charisma.

 

He leads with the fact that he makes a lot of money, sure if I was looking for a rich man, he will be the first one I would keep my eyes on. Telling me things like “I make 6 figures” while I am not physically attracted to you means nothing to me. All that money I can’t stand to look at you ugh. I would rather live in a small cottage with the man I love than in a mansion with a man I do not love. I want to be happy not rich, if happiness comes with a rich guy, then hey but that’s not what I want. 

People forget that physical attraction is just as important as emotional attraction. Sure, you may fall in love with someone’s mind, their qualities but what if you don’t like the way they look or the way they dress. I mean I can fix the way you dress that’s not a problem but there are some physical attributes that I cannot  alter or change and I will leave you the way you are and someone else will love you for who you are (it won’t be me though) I don’t like wasting peoples time 1 day talking to you is enough to get me an idea if I will ever be able to fall for you. 

 

He prides himself as being a great conversationalist, but I am not looking for a great speaker I need someone who makes me weak with just one look. The dating scene is insane not that I am looking but some people are really bold and I am shocked.

Is it shallow?

 

I was talking to a friend and she told me that I am vain for wanting a tall guy. I laughed because I thought it was funny the way she said it, but was she right?

 

I believe we all deserve to date someone we are physically attracted to. If I am vain then be it because it’s my heart on the line I would rather look at my man and want to eat him every time (wait pause!) what I mean is I want to be attracted to my man in every way both physically and emotionally. One of the reasons why I cannot do long distance is because  I need to physically see you to make up my mind. I don’t trust pictures at all, I want to see you in front of me to really fall in love. I cannot fall in love with just FaceTime and a voice. 

 

I do love tall men, if you’re a short king then I am sorry you might have a hard time getting me to fall in love with you. That’s just my preference and not just any tall man I know what I like and he will know. I am very picky! Every guy is my friend (except that one and he knows). You might find it hard to believe because I’ve never open up about that but It’s very rare that I feel something romantic for someone! I can count on one hand how many people I’ve actually liked, and I mean deeply fell for.  Some people I said I had a crush on is just pure admiration but there was no romantic feelings. My therapist once told me I think you are asexual and I disagree ! I have those feelings but only for the person I connect with. My love is rare… the guy I kissed in the beginning of the year that I had no romantic feelings for haunts me to this day because I didn’t want any of that. 

 

There are some people that I want to like but I just can’t! I always knew who I want and what I want but in life you don’t always get what you want.
