Outrageous things I've heard so far from men :
- "don't lift too heavy I don't want you to get big biceps": first of all I am not a body builder and unless I eat like a mad man and trained like a mad woman there's no way my biceps would be bigger than his if he works out. I told him: You could at least ask me what my goal was before making suggestions. then he said " no I just don't want my woman to be super muscular" so I said well maybe I am not the woman for you, then I stopped talking to him lol. There's this misconception about woman becoming jacked up in the gym from lifting 10 lbs dumbbell that I always find absurd! there's no way for a woman with estrogen hormones to get huge biceps unless she trained her lats, biceps daily and eat like a mad man... I train my biceps once a week... bro I almost laughed in that guy's face because the ignorance was palpable.
- another time I was talking to a guy and he ask me what i was doing because he heard a lot of noise so I told him I just got back from home depot now I am fixing something in my shower. he said" wow not you being the man of the house" I laughed and said " if not me then who" he said " nah I like my woman feminine seems like you're very hands on" again I said " well that's disappointing, I am sure what you're looking for is out there. I'll let you go find it" and I said " I'll call you back" then I never did lol. He did call but I never picked up. I am a very girly girl and he met me... the way he kept saying you like a lot of manly things like "football, F1, you lift weights" and it sounded like he wanted me to stop indulging in these things. One time I was on the phone with him while playing video games and he ask what are you doing that you're not paying attention to me I said I'm playing FIFA, he said no way so I facetime him and showed him! he was shocked but I couldn't tell if he was impressed or turned off...so I said maybe we can talk later and kept on playing lol. Mind you he's not paying for any of it, so I kindly remove myself from his life. I know a man out there is dying to meet a girl like me. The same way I will never try to change a man is the same way I wouldn't want a man to try to change me. I am fine the way I am, God created a masterpiece, sure I am not perfect and I am a work in progress but don't make me feel bad for the things I love. Each of my intrest makes me happier in a way, a man who truly love and care about me would want me to be happy doing the things that I love as long as they aren't harmful.
